Raised Beds

And here they are. The cause of much excitement around here. I watch the progress of the little beans, peas, and edamame with as much anticipation as Mary, Colin, and Dickon. My husband? He just likes to stand out in the yard, admire his handiwork, and talk about how great his raised beds look. I have to say, I agree.

The look fab! Asparagus is really fun to grow (even if you don't like to eat it!). Ours grows back every year, no matter what we do to it - and the chockes that don't get eaten make lovely purple thistle flowers in the fall!

Tell hubby - nice job!

Ahem - I meant artichokes, not asparagus!

I love artichokes, and asparagus! They are a bit big for my beds though.

They certainly are worth admiring...as is your whole backyard...in all it's glorious loveliness :)

Wonderful job! I would love those in my backyard. Mmm think I would need some flat ground that I don't actually have. What lush lawn you have.
